7.91 - So the shaking seized them, and they became in their homes motionless. 7.92 - Those who denied Shuaib were as though they had never dwelt therein; those who denied Shuaib, it was them who were losers. 7.93 - So he turned away from them and said: O my people! I have certainly delivered to you the messages of my Lord and I advised you, so how should I be sorry for a disbelieving people? 7.94 - And We did not send a prophet in a village except that We seized its people with hardship and tribulation that perhaps they will humble themselves. 7.95 - Then We exchanged in the place of bad, good, until they increased and said: Hardship and tribulation had touched our fathers. Then We seized them by surprise while they did not perceive. 7.96 - And if the people of the villages had believed and feared, We would have surely opened upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth; but they rejected, so We seized them for what they used to earn. 7.97 - And did the people of the villages feel secure from Our hardship coming to them at night while they were sleeping? 7.98 - Or did the people of the villages feel secure from Our hardship coming to them in the morning while they were playing? 7.99 - Did they then feel secure from the plan of Allah? None feels secure from the plan of Allah except the losing people. 7.100 - Has it not become clear to those who inherited the earth after its (previous) people that if We willed, We could strike them for their sins? But set a seal on their hearts so they do not hear.
